We Need Your Help

Has it already been a week? Well guess what. We're doing it all again in 2024!

Are you interested to help make this thing go? Got expertise or experience in a particular thing that the event production could benefit from? Ready to give back to the community in a bigger way?

Please give us your info by submitting your name and areas you might be interested to lend a hand at. It might seem crazy, but yes, we actually form the Alchemy 2024 team soon this winter and into early 2024. Whew!

πŸ€– 2023 SWAG DISTRIBUTION πŸ€–

The Ghost Robots had other plans - and the Swag didn't arrive onsite in time. Fear not, the robots are on it! Actually, it's some volunteers, but you get the idea.

#1 - Theme Campers! Your TCO received an email. Please check with them, and make sure they have received and responded with an accurate headcount.

#2 - Open Campers! There is a form below to fill out for Swag Distribution Shipments. We couldn't recruit robots for this one, so we ask that you please group together for Swag shipments so our volunteers aren't sending hundreds of individual envelopes. Did you, your roommate, their significant other, and your brother all camp together? One of you can ask for 4, it'll help speed up the process AND save us shipping!

🎲 Swag will be available at all Alchemy D6 events to be collected in person. You can hang out with some friends and save the org some $ (more art for next year!!!) If you'd like to collect in person, ignore the open camp form and show up to the next event!

Please Give Us Your Feedback

The Alchemy Community Survey is here!

If you were able to make it to Alchemy this year, we'd really like your honest feedback.

The responses to this survey will be carefully read and will have an impact on our plans for 2024.

Please take the time to fill out this survey, then comment below with your favorite moment at the burn so that this post is seen by as many folks as possible!

And remember... "it was better next year!" πŸ₯°

Six Short Decompression Tips

A peak experience like Alchemy can put you in a strange state of mind. Like a diver coming up to the surface after being under water, you want to take care how quickly you enter back into the default world. Here are a few quick tips.

1. Self Care!

Take a shower, hippie. Or two. You need it. Eat some healthy food. AND GET SOME SLEEP!

2. Breathe.

Take a moment of quiet reflection. Gaze lovingly at your collected swag. Get a massage. Write. Relax. Allow yourself to just be.

3. Clean your gear.

Wash your clothes and car. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS DRY.

4. Put down your phone.

Or at least, don't go nutz obsessing over it. Your brain and body is wonky and your communication skills are probably not going to be at 100%

5. Wait.

Perhaps the most important tip: Wait 3 weeks before you make any life changing decisions.

6. Remember.

You are not alone. If you're struggling, talk to someone about it. The default world might feel a little weird for awhile. Especially if this is your first time.

2023 Gate and Traffic Information

πŸ€– Hey Everyone! We have a few changes regarding the Gate Process, Traffic Policies, and overall Placement stuff that we want to ensure all of you are aware of - as it will help make your experience much better! 😁

❓️What’s New? - Glad you asked! If you’ve attended Alchemy or Euphoria on this property, you may remember the small field where the Temple was. This field is now home to Greeters, Box Office, and Placement. Look out for our terrific Traffic Volunteers in their orange vests, they will help guide you home.

🌞 πƒπšπ²π₯𝐒𝐠𝐑𝐭 𝐏𝐨π₯𝐒𝐜𝐲: Our standard 2 hour policy to drive to your site, unpack, set up, and move your vehicle to the parking lot is still in effect.

🦺 π„π―πžπ§π’π§π  𝐏𝐨π₯𝐒𝐜𝐲: Safety is our number one priority, in an effort to make our roads safer we are trying something new. If you arrive between 7pm and 1am you will still check in at the box office, go through Greeters, and Placement normally - then you will drive directly to the Parking Lot, where there will be a staging/drop off area. Folks will pull into a temporary parking space and unload whatever gear is needed for the evening into the marked holding area. After you unload your gear - you will need to park your vehicle until Sunrise. πŸŒ„

πŸ•› π‹πšππž-𝐧𝐒𝐠𝐑𝐭 𝐏𝐨π₯𝐒𝐜𝐲: If you arrive between Midnight and 9am - you will need to park your vehicle at Gate, where directed, and take whatever you need for the night with you. You will need to return at 9am, to retrieve your vehicle and proceed as normal.

πŸš— With the changes to vehicle entry, parking, and, driving - we have created a series of π‚π‘πˆπ“πˆπ‚π€π‹ volunteer shifts that will be dedicated to helping folks in our Staging Area and transporting Burners with a small amount of gear to a spot near their campsite. Make sure to sign up for Volunteer Shifts if we do not have volunteers for these shifts then it's radical self reliance.
