Fire Safety Regulations and Policies for Alchemy 2024

We have some important information regarding fire safety regulations for this year’s event. Alchemy 2024 participants are required to adhere to the same regulations as last year regarding fire safe materials and open flames.

Not sure what we’re talking about? Check out https://www.alchemyburn.com/chattahoochee-hills-firesafe... for all the info.

An additional reminder that we are not able to allow any open flame or source of heat under any pavilion or covered area. This includes, but is not limited to: Flame effects, cooking burners/grills/griddles, propane heaters, fire pits.

Please keep in mind that we do not put these kinds of restrictions in place for our own jollies. More rules makes more work for us, and less fun for everyone. We do what we have to do, to be able to hold the event.

TIDE Gifted Tickets for POC Participants

TIDE and Alchemy are excited to announce the TIDE-gifted tickets for POC participants. The initiative consists of a free ticket to POC burners to help break down some barriers to entry into the regional burning man world. TIDE is providing not only a ticket but also comprehensive welcome materials to support new burners with what a burn is all about.

These welcome materials are available for anyone new to the burning world, as well as anyone who would like to brush up on the principles that help us build a community based on values that are dear to us all. We have two asks of the community:

  • We are prioritizing tickets for those who have not yet attended Alchemy, so please be sure to share the TIDE Gifted Tickets for POC Participants form with them! The form is found on our forms page on our website or follow this link to form: TIDE GiftedTickets for POC Participants

  • We want to make new participants feel truly at home, so if you are a seasoned POC burner interested in being connected with a new POC burner to share your wisdom and experiences, please contact TIDE@flashpointart.org

Thank you for helping us reach our goals for Radical Inclusion for those historically underrepresented in the burner community. Stay tuned for more updates from Alchemy’s TIDE team about other events and opportunities to increase participant diversity!
