Dearest Alchemists, the ballot is closed, and the vote is over for the FAI Board of Directors election for the 2025-2026 term! We had two voting seats on the Board open for election this year, and the two candidates who received the most votes are Aaron Averill and Sarah Palmer! Assuming they accept their appointments at our upcoming BOD meeting on Thursday, November 21st 2024, Aaron and Sarah's new terms will officially start on January 15th 2025.

Through your efforts, you'll be eligible for a leadership hoodie and some great stories from your adventures on the team.
General time expectations include:
2-3 hours a week leading up to the event (includes meetings, social media posts, and replying to messages) 5-8 hours during the event week in October (for facilitating meet-ups, events, meeting with event leads, and gathering feedback from participants).

All volunteers that complete a single shift get to decorate a custom bandana!
Complete 8 hours of volunteer time, or one critical shift to get 1 full price reserve ticket for next year's event.

24 hours for one free reserve ticket to next year's event

Shuttle Volunteer call out
Need an easy way to participate in the Burn, Volunteer for Shuttles shift leads!
This shift is only 3 hrs. of your time! You get to talk on the radio, hang out at info station, sit under the shade, and much more. If your shift is during and Art Burns or Effigy burns, don't worry you can watch it all. People need shuttles there too. You can help coordinate the shuttles after the burns.
