Art grants are now open for Alchemy 2023

Exciting News! Last week the Alchemy Art Department opened art grant submissions for the 2023 burn. Flashpoint Artists Initiative is again funding over $50,000 in grants for community created art… including yours! The deadline for submission is June 1, 2023

The Art Department has spent countless hours over the winter doing a massive revamp of the art grant process in an effort to widen the kinds of art and artists that are supported by our community. That’s Radical Inclusion baby! There are several new policy changes this year including funding of consumables such as propane and even food. It’s going to make for a very exciting burn.

If you’ve submitted art grants in the past or this is your first one be sure to check out all the new rules including the new Early Funding Incentive.

Not sure what you want to make? I’ll leave you with this insburnrational quote:
