Join the Alchemy Art Grant Review Team!

The review team will decide which projects get funded for the 2024 Alchemy event. Team members will decide to fund projects to their minimum or maximum requested amount for both waves of applications. Any additional funding in that wave’s pool will be redistributed for projects up to their maximum to bring more goodies.

Art Grant Applications

The Alchemy Art Grant team is happy to announce the opening of 2024's Art Grant Applications.

Do you have an idea for some awesome art? We want to help you bring it to life by funding it!

If you want to know more about what art grants will fund check out  art grant information or follow this link to fill out the Art Grant Application

Round one applications will be open from May 17th to June 7th.

The Second Round of applications will be open from June 14th until July 5th.

We have made some changes to the process to help make it more accessible to everyone here's what's new:

We will be accepting applications twice. Each round will have a pool of funds allocated to the projects submitted. Any remaining funds after the committee allocates the funds will be carried over into the next round of funding. The Art Grant review team will decide on the final distribution of the funds at the end of each submission round. They will begin the process of distributing the funds immediately after the completion of each round. So, the sooner you submit your application, the earlier you'll receive your funds.

Who is eligible to apply for an art grant? Everyone! Whether you're a kid, a first-time burner, an old-timer, an artist, a hobbyist, a local artist, or an artist from far away, you can apply. We welcome brand new projects, as well as old art that needs repairs or help to get to our burn. You don't have to be a "professional" artist to apply for a grant - we want to help you bring your creation to life! Our goal is to remove obstacles and roadblocks so that you can make your art a reality. This opportunity is available to all ages. If you're under 18, you must have an adult sponsor who is approved by your parent or guardian.

Requirements: Last year we removed and altered our requirements to make this process as inclusive as possible and we are continuing in the same direction this year. We have removed as many barriers as possible from our requirements and it has never been easier to apply. We do still have a few restrictions, please review the requirements on our art grant page before submitting.
