Announcing: Disability Services

📣 Big news, everyone! We're thrilled to announce the launch of a new team for 2023 - Disability Services! 🎉

The goal of Disability Services is to ensure an inclusive experience for all burners. We're excited to announce upcoming improvements like an expanded shuttle system, ADA camping, and even a team to help with tent setup for those who need it.

The Disability Services team is led by Bri Roxas and Melissa Mullians. Melissa's passion for mental health drew her to Sanctuary since she started burning and she stepped up into a role as lead in that department for the last three years. She is also fluent in ASL. Bri Roxas has been on the EC since 2021 and has POTS and EDS and is an outspoken disability advocate.

We are so excited to be able to do things this year to make the burn more equitable and make it easier for more people to join us.

The first goal of this team is to be a resource and LISTEN. We know sometimes all anyone needs is to talk things through and figure out what works for them and we are 100% here for that. Please let us know what we can do to help you overcome barriers and have a fantastic time!
