Voting Process
→ Vote now! Go to the 2023 Art Projects page and get your 10 free-of-charge votes with the discount code ART2023 (we will not be awarding any additional votes, so put your money away) to decide which projects get guaranteed minimum funding!
→ If the project receives enough votes to receive their minimum funding then that project is marked “Sold out” and a check is sent to the artist within 2 weeks! The number of votes needed is determined by the minimum amount the project is seeking. $1 does NOT equal 1 vote as it did previously. Examples of project minimums and the number of votes needed to reach minimum funding: $300 min needs 26 votes, $500 min needs 43 votes, and $3,500 min needs 304 votes.
→ If the project does not receive enough votes to meet its minimum then the entire project is forwarded on to the Art Grant Committee for allocation in the final round of funding decisions.
→ Voting will close when 5,000 votes are used or on Jun 15, whichever comes first! Projects have until Jun 1 to submit.
Apply for an Art Grant
Artists must apply before Jun 1, 2023, to be eligible for early funding. Once your application is accepted your project will be uploaded to the portal for the community to vote on.
